Margaret A. Evans
Margaret A. Evans, daughter of the late Madelin Warren-Campbell and Haywood Campbell, was born October 9, 1937 and departed this life May 8, 2018 at Bay Health Medical Center in Dover, DE, after a brief illness.
Margaret attended Benjamin Banneker Elementary School and graduated from William Henry High School. She was joined in Holy wedlock to James C. Evans and was blessed with one son, Kevin C. Evans, whom she loved and cherished.
She had previously been employed at Dover Downs and Boscov’s where she was a retail associate and from which she retired. She was a devoted mother. Her deep sense of pride made her a very unique person. We are thankful to God for lending her to share a life of love and happiness with us. Our memories of her will be a keepsake that will live in our hearts forevermore.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Evans, mother, Madelin Warren-Campbell, father, Haywood Campbell, three sisters, Agnes Campbell, Naomi Campbell-Russ, and Helen Campbell-Short, and a brother, Sylvester Campbell.
