Obituary for Arnold W. Pierce Jr.
Arnold was born in Gouldtown, NJ on October 6, 1939 to Arnold W. Sr. and Agnes Pierce both of whom predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Lovely C. Pierce. (Gigi), sister, Darlene Streater, step-mother Rosetta Pierce, and nephew Brian Streater.
He attended Bridgeton Public Schools. He was a roofer by trade and attended Seeds of Greatness Bible Church whenever he was able to. Arnold LOVED his family and was very proud of their accomplishments. He looked forward to family events and celebrations. He also enjoyed reading the local newspapers and watching sports on TV and was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan!
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Lisa Pierce Lewis and son-in-law Pastor Jerome L. Lewis, sister Muriel Jean Pierce, Treena Saunders who lovingly helped with his care, brother George Pierce, two step daughters and a step-son, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Lovely C. Pierce Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o Seeds of Greatness Bible Church,828 Frenchtown Road, New Castle, DE 19720.
