Obituary for Darrius A. Jackson-Paul

Darrius Alexander Jackson-Paul was born on October 4, 1993 at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware to Alicia Jackson and Warner Paul, Jr.

While living in Delaware, Darrius attended Christ Our King and P.S. DuPont Middle School until his mother decided to move him and his sisters back to her hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

While living in Philadelphia, Darrius’ mom decided to send her three children to Our Lady of Rosary Catholic School and had them baptized Catholic. From the very beginning Darrius exceeded all and beyond all expectations of his brilliance.

As a little boy Darrius had always been a character and charming with his big smile and those adorable dimples. He could persuade anyone with that smile.

At the age of nine, Darrius’ mother decided that Darrius needed to have his own special relationship and bond with his father and made a big decision on letting him go and reside with his father in Wilmington, Delaware. While in Delaware he took up the sport of football and wrestling and everyone knew that the Pittsburgh Steelers was his team. He attended Brandywine High School and graduated from Glen Mills High School in 2012.

Darrius to his mother and father has always been the light of their eyes, by being their only son.

Darrius grew up as a happy middle child with two sisters. He was loved dearly by his deceased grandmom, Nonnie; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew.

He will never ever be forgotten because he brought a smile to everyone’s face that he came across with that special charm of his.

Darrius will be truly missed by his mother, father, his older sister, Alecia Jackson; his younger sister, Alexa Jackson and his oldest niece, Ameerah.

Darrius’ mother and father want everyone to know that God gave them a special and beautiful young man for 23 years that they were able to call him “Our Son”.
