Obituary for Mary E. Graham

Mary E. Graham
Mary Elizabeth Graham, (affectionately known as “Stormy”) was born November 4, 1958 to Queen Elizabeth Graham and the late Albert Nathaniel Graham, Sr., in Philadelphia, PA. She took flight from this life to rest, in heaven on Friday, February 17, 2017.

Stormy was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating high school in 1976. She later enlisted in the United States Army and served our country for 20 years. She was the loving and devoted mother of two beautiful angels (her pride and joy), Tondalaya and Maraualana “Monea”.

Stormy was known for her sparkling personality and a smile that would light a room as soon as she entered. Whether a family gathering, a fun celebration or you just wanted to have fun, Stormy was always the “life of the party”. She would keep everyone laughing for hours and made sure everyone was having a good time. She also enjoyed playing cards, Sorry, listening to music and dancing. Stormy loved watching movies and was a big fan of “Family Feud”. She never grew tired of going shopping and had an obsession for lipstick. Stormy was known for her signature color…purple.

Stormy’s greatest love was for her family, especially her mother and her daughters. Her mother fondly remembers how Stormy made sure she never wanted for anything and took great care to make sure all her needs were met. There was no task to large or small. Even while serving her country Stormy made sure her mother had all that she needed and never needed to worry. With a heart of gold, she would give her last to help her family!

Her daughters were the “apple of her eye”. They remember their mother as a strong woman who was also funny and sweet. She was a great supporter of everyone, never being judgmental and having a gentle heart. She supported everyone and you could talk to her about anything. She always gave encouraging words, no matter the situation. She loved her grandchildren and adored her grand-puppies. Her family was her life. She will forever be loved and cherished…WE LOVE YOU MOMMY!

To forever remember and cherish her memory are: her mother, Elizabeth Graham; two daughters, Tondalaya Harris ( fiancée Rob) and Monea Johnson ( fiancée Sam); one brother, Albert Graham; two sisters, Natalie Graham and Stephanie Graham-Williams; two granddaughters, Leeana and Aleena Galstian; two nieces, Tunisha and Natalaya; six nephews, Sharif, DelMar Jr, Michael, Vincent, Austin and Stephano; one god-brother , Rodney; one uncle, George; five aunts, Dorothy, Alberta, Alice, Essie and Elenoria; her two grand-puppies, Bella and Charlee and a host of cousins, family and friends.
