Obituary for Kenneth L. Staples
Kenneth L. Staples son of the late William Staples, Sr. and Josephine Elizabeth Staples, was born on August 8, 1941.
He departed this life on May 17, 2019 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center in Wilmington, Delaware.
Kenneth graduated from Howard High School in Wilmington, Delaware and later became employed as an Iron Worker at City Steel Company in Marcus Hook.
Among Kenneth’s many hobbies, he most enjoyed cooking. He was always a healthy eater, sharing creative dishes with his family. He was known for being an avid reader and encouraged his nieces to read more. He learned to speak German, Italian and Spanish as well as other languages.
Kenneth will be fondly missed by his family.
Kenneth is survived by a sister, Patricia Staples; niece, Bridget Staples; great niece, Tiffany Staples; great great-niece, De’asia Staples; great great-nephews, Jaquell Staples and Emmanuel Staples; and close family friends, Ricky Saunders and Joyce Sanders.
