Timothy S. Simmons was born October 19, 1961 to Samuel Simmons and the late Josephine Simmons of Clayton, Delaware. He departed this life on April 20, 2019. He was fondly known as “Timmy” or “Stimy” to everyone he befriended.
He was educated in the Smyrna/Clayton School District and graduated from Smyrna High School. Timmy was employed previously at St. Andrews School and over the past 10 years at Bayhealth.
He was an avid football fan and his favorite team was the Cleveland Browns. He loved gaming and often played PlayStation/Xbox with friends. If you knew “Stimy” you were aware of how he made everyone laugh he came in contact with.
Timmy is survived by; his father, Samuel Simmons; stepmother, Doris Simmons; one sister, Deborah Scott (James); two stepsisters, Margaret Brown (Robert) and Cheryl Dean; three aunts, Betty Henry, Sylvia Hawkins and Cynthia Irby; three uncles, Ivan Jackson (Geraldine), Warner Henry (Cleo) and Donald Henry (Geraldine) and a host of cousins and friends; special buddies; Donald Mears, Dwight Hillman, Karen McColister, David Johnson, Nate Murray and Kenny Murphy.
